still don't have a car. now we may lose our food stamps because we can't drive to get the papper work they want. a friend said he would help us get on where he works if we had a car.

I don't know what to do, i want to take care of my famliy but my hands are tied. sometimes i wonder why go on. 

This is why I hate the holidays. A friend of our who we have just gotten back in touch with wants to buy Christmas for our son, because we can't. I really wish I knew how to tell them not to with out hurting their feelings. Our son under stands the way it is now. So he will not be expecting any thing. Then my husband tells me that the resion my sister and brother and their famlies stop giveing gifts to every one was because we could not aford to.

And they wonder why I never want to spend Christmas with them any more. It hurts to be made to feel that you are the cause of your famley  not being able to spend the holidays they way they want to. As well as insulting. Now I know they don't meant it that way but that's the way it feels. 

I feel awful as it is, but what they are doing is not makeing me feel better it's makeing me feel worse.

I know things are bad all over but there are alot of things we can do to help our selves. Plant a guarden this spring. Learn how to can food. Learn how to do simple repares your self. Insteed of buying gifts make them. Learn how to sew. That way you can make some of your our clothes, repare or remake them. Reuse every thing you can.

There are tons of books at the Liberary that can help you learn the things our Grandparents did every day. As well as DVDs and CDs. 

We can all get threw the hard times if we just use our heads.

Both my husband and I are out of work. Our car died on us over two weeks ago. What we need is a running car so we can find work. We all so have a teenage son and have been happly married for 21 years. We are good people who belive no matter how bad you got the are others who are worse off that you. Thank you.
